There are a lot of fit girls in the world, but they all have different motives. A particularly beautiful woman may be legitimately interested in you, or she may have ulterior motives. As with any new person you meet, watch for signs that she’s not in it for genuine reasons. It can sometimes be hard to spot, particularly if you’re blinded by her beauty and if she’s an all-around quality person. Instead, you should try to get to know the woman and figure out things like her goals before you can really trust the woman. Here are a few signs that she may have less than honorable intentions.

The Attractiveness Ratio

We all like to think that we are good looking blokes. It’s probably true, but then there’s the “wow” factor. There’s the fit girl who everyone fancied in school and then there are supermodels. If you’re dating a woman who falls into the latter category and you personally aren’t regularly featured on the pages of the seasonal Debenham’s catalogue, it might be time to rethink her reasoning. You may have simply gotten lucky and landed yourself a lovely girl whom you to click with and is also gorgeous. But if any of the other warning signs sound familiar, we strongly suggest reassessing your relationship.

Going Dutch, Or Going Broke?

“You should share your dinner expenses”

It’s all well and good to go Dutch with a girl, and even to pay for everything at the beginning, but do you find yourself paying for everything? For example, if you go out to dinner, is she ordering lavish meals and then simply expecting you to cover the bill? Or if you go on holiday, is she racking up souvenirs and expensive nights out and handing you the tab? Although you might be a traditional bloke, there’s no need to pay for your girlfriend’s every whim, especially if it’s early on in the relationship and she’s expecting you to pay for personal expenses. If you know she’s more of a traditionalist and she expects you to pay for dinner on the second date, that’s not what we would call a telltale sign. If she expects you to pay for her airline ticket after three months of dating when you decide to take a long weekend to Paris, that’s a bit too much.

Judging By Track Record

Do you know how long her other relationships have lasted? While we don’t recommend prying into a girl’s affairs, as that’s a bit stalkerish, it can’t hurt to have an idea of how she’s treated the other men she’s dated. Do you know anyone that she’s split up with? Did she split up with him, or vice versa? If you suspect that your girlfriend might be in the relationship just for you to pay a mint for her, rather than enjoying your company, it might be time to reassess your situation. No matter how beautiful or lovely she seems at first, nothing good can come of a woman who’s simply looking to you to foot the bill for her lifestyle.
