Hiking is a great activity for a couple to share. For the price of some stiff athletic shoes and a picnic lunch, you can go out and see some nature. There are lots of low-cost activities that go along with these all-day excursions like camping and bird watching, so keep your mind open. This is also a good time to take a step back from technology and communicate with one another.

“Masterchef” Your Kitchen

You don’t have to go out of your way to do this, and you don’t have to buy strange and exotic ingredients at incredibly high prices. Remember, a can of peaches, some fish fingers and fresh basil could be a challenge on their own, and after the combination is over, the leftovers can be eaten on their own and incorporated into other dishes. Even just pairing unusual items together when you’ve done your weekly shopping can lead to interesting results at no extra cost.

Create a Youtube Channel

As long as you have a computer and some kind of camera, you can start up your own Youtube channel. You have to get a bit creative with this, but whether you’re going to be your girl’s dummy for a makeup tutorial or you’re planning on reviewing movies together, don’t aim to become the next Youtube sensation. And you can forget about creating X-rated movies together for your Youtube channel. For starters, Youtube won’t accept that kind of video. Plus, odds are pretty good that your lady won’t be too keen on making home-made porn your next hobby together. (And if she is? Then you’ve got a keeper on your hands.)

Volunteer Together

Spending a few hours a month at the animal shelter or picking up trash from the local park might not be the most glamorous idea, but it’s a great way to feel good about yourself and each other. You’re helping out, and you can have yet another point of reference in common: putting time into something that’s important to you.

Really, there’s nothing that says you and your woman will agree on everything, so don’t be afraid to shop around. Try a few activities, and only go back to the ones that both of you really enjoyed. These easy, fun, and fast hobbies are just the jumping off point into a fun new hobby with your woman.
