When you’re dating a girl, it’s alright to show your sensitive side. After all, most women love that sort of thing. Romantic stuff like flowers and love notes hit the spot, but if you really want to make it look like you went the extra mile, then make her something sweet. Most women love sweets and spend a fair amount of money on them. If you go out of your way to make her something, then she’ll be touched more than if you bought her a box of chocolates. Ladies love muffins. There are so many varieties that it’s really hard not to find one you’d like. Since you have been dating a while you’ll probably know what some of her favorite foods are (and if you don’t, feel free to ask. She’ll still be surprised). Take whatever that combination is, whether its blueberries and bananas, chocolate, brown sugar and syrup, etc. and go online. Type in something like chocolate muffins and pages upon pages of results will come up. Make sure to read through the ratings and user comments to really get your muffin recipe down. Muffins aren’t hard to bake since they essentially just need to be mixed as wet ingredients and dry ingredients then combined. Purchase a cheap muffin pan and you’re in business.

No-Bake Bon Bons

Bon bons are a classic lady treat. These chocolate covered candies are very decadent and pricey when bought at the store so most people don’t buy them. Again, it would be very sweet to show up with a box of expensive looking bon bons but it would win you even more affection to make your own. Search for “no-bake bon bons” and find a video for this one. Most of them aren’t difficult to make at all, in fact, they are deceivingly easy to make since they don’t require cooking or any other weird method of baking. The best thing about home-made bon bons is that they are even better when they aren’t uniform. The hand rolled chocolate coating gives a feel that you were slaving away over them all night when in actuality it just took you an hour.

Parfaits

This one isn’t so much a dessert or indulgence, but if you have a lady who’s watching her weight or just likes to stay fit, then parfaits are perfect. A parfait is simply a layering of yogurt and other ingredients in a cup. They can range from fresh fruit to granola to a bit of chocolate. Simply pick her favorite things and put them in a to-go cup. She’ll love that you remembered what she likes and gave her the convenience of a take away snack. If you do want to make it more sweet add small cubes of cake in between pudding and caramel syrup.

Making her something to satisfy her sweet tooth only takes a small amount of time and the payoff is that she will think you’re thoughtful and romantic. It’s definitely worth it in the end.
